T67930 Mobile Torque Analyser for Calibrating Torque Motors
5000 LbFt capacity with 1" & 1 1/2" female square input. +- .5% accuracy of reading from 20% to 100% of full scale.
This analyser was designed to allow for more exact torque readings by using simulated "soft" joints during calibration. Shown is a 7FDL cylinder hold down "soft joint" that duplicates the actual torque run up of the real life application. It utilizes the actual 7FDL cylinder hold down bolt, washer, & threaded insert that the engine is equipped with.
To date two soft joints have been developed:
1 - GE 7FDL Cylinder Hold Down "Soft" Joint
1 - EMD Cylinder Crab Nut "Soft" Joint
