T64842 Universal Capacitor Discharge Device for All GE AC Locomotives
This set consists of one manual discharge assembly, seven individual shortening assemblies and a portable storage box.
The manual discharge assembly has six 5,000 OHM 225 Watt radial wire wound resistors connected in parallel to dissipate any residual charge, and then the individual cables are connected to the individual capacitors until maintenance is complete per OEM instructions.
